You pay per page processed. One page = one document page transformed into structured variants (markdown, embeddings, metadata, thumbnails, searchable index). API calls for reading and searching are free.
Each page of a PDF, each image, or each minute of audio counts as one page. A 10-page PDF costs 10 pages. A single image costs 1 page.
All tiers include Roset-managed API keys for extraction providers (Reducto, OpenAI, Gemini, Whisper). You don't need to sign up for these services separately. On Growth+ plans, you can optionally bring your own keys (BYOK) for a 40% discount on overage rates.
Overage pages are billed at $0.02/page (or $0.012 with BYOK). You can set hard caps in the console to prevent unexpected charges.
